Got strange issue.

I had to setup my old 2012 macbook air for work as my 2010 macbook died on me.

So setting up thunderbird with my yahoo and hotmail was easy.
Now gmail should be the same, but nope!

I try setup my gmail and it gives me a popup box from google to sign in...
I type in the email address and click next, expecting it to ask for my password.
but nope the next button flashes but nothing happens.

In gmail settings I have enabled allow lesser security apps.

Other issue/setting problem is with safari.
Does safari not save passwords to icloud when it sync?
I open safari on the air but passwords not there, history is but that is it.

Is it correct not to sync passwords?

thanks guys.

Fixed the gmail issue.

Still passwords not on the air.
my imac and my macbook saved passwords in safari.

Any idea why they not synced to the air?
[doublepost=1510250752][/doublepost]passwords are saved in keychain on my imac as can see the log in keychain via utilities folder.

Cannot export any of the keychains, the option remains grayed out
