odd Limewire issue

I've gotten an odd error of late in limewire pro 4.9.9
I keep getting things downloading and going then all of a sudden I get an error message that says: disk error
I've never seen this before in the windows version, so I'm assuming it might not be atypical of mac versions either. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
(please don't bother posting ethical arguements over using p2p software either, I don't really care, I can see instances where downloading is not harmful)

How's your hardddrive space looking?

Try deleting the content of the incomplete folder (/users/incomplete). If the problem persists, changing drives and directory for downloads may help; provided it is not near full.

I have about 32gb free, so I'm not sure space would be an issue
