Odd Mac Sightings

I was studying at the library a few days ago and saw this guy carry his iMac/keyboard/mouse to a nearby table. Unusual indeed.

Now that's funny! I wish I had a picture of the time my mom had to borrow my Lime iBook for a boardroom meeting at a law firm. Hilarious! All of the lawyers with their Dells and Thinkpads were like "WTF is that!?!??"

Some guy at my school done the exact thing. he just strolled in with his 24" iMac box an set it up like it was nothing

so was this guy smiling or chucking to himself? or did he just stroll in like it was nothing? probably came from his dorm room.

i remember seeing a picture of a guy stroll into a coffee shop with an imac strapped to his backpack.

then I remembered it was a £1000 desktop with a huge glass panel on the front. It would either get smashed or stolen by a chav

So I put my ideas to rest... although maybe if it was like a visit to a relative's house... I don't know...

But it's cool that someone did it xD haha. Awesome.

My guitar teacher, who also runs a music recording studio, hauls his 24-incher (iMac) whenever he sets up for a recording session. He's been lusting after my MBP since he saw it. Definitely would be a convenience..

Odd Mac Sighting...

Figured I'd give this thread a much needed bump.

Today while trying to immerse myself in all things SQL db's (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, etc) ... I came across this video on youtube. Specifically its a campus of Oracle itself. Low and behold one of their employees (mind you security is MAJOR tight: Scan card, PIN, Biometric Palm scan, Optical scan :O = 1984 type stuff) is using a PowerBook/MBP
