Odd Power Charger Bug with Sonoma

I'm on the Gen 1 MacBook Pro 16 and when I upgraded to Sonoma I started getting a weird power bug:

The behavior is - it charges for about 10 seconds with the light on orange or green for charging on the power adapter. Then disconnects to off and goes dark for about 2 seconds. Then rinse/repeat

It's somewhat annoying if you have the sound on becuase it "beeps" with each DC and reconnect.

Anyone else experiencing this or is it just a power adapter failure coincident with Sonoma please?

Same issue here. This is happening on a third-party charger and not on the original apple charger.

Same issue. I have 2 Apple power adapter, and this has happened to both. Shut down/restart did not resolve the issue. Sometimes the issue goes away on its own.
