My wife is an attorney who seems to be constantly printing in this paperless world.

She has an M1 iMac and a 15" M3 MBA both on 15.3.1. The printer is a Canon MF4400w. The problem described here applies to both Macs.

She uses Libre Office pretty much exclusively for all of the documents she produces. Until today, she had no problem printing those ODT documents.

The first image is what the document looks like when opened in Preview using the Libre Office print dialog. This is what the document should look like when printed:

I realize the difference is not much, but it's enough to make the printed page look pretty bad, with a huge empty space at the bottom of the page as a result, I guess, of the slightly smaller text size.

We've fiddled with printer settings until we're at the hair pulling stage. The crazy thing is that after several years of printing with this combination of word processor, computer and printer, this is the first time my wife's had this sort of problem

Any ideas?
