iPad Odd question - does the 11” Keyboard folio work with the 12.9” iPad (2018)?

I’m curious.

In the past I sometimes used the 12.9” ASK with my 10.5”, worked fine.

I’m curious about the reverse of that scenario.

I’m assuming the 11” Keyboard wont work with the 12.9” iPad due to magnet placement.

Technically yes...but unlike the previous models that clipped onto the edge of the iPad...the new ones click on the back. So the size differences btwn the 11” & 12.9” wouldn’t allow the keyboard to line up when trying to fold it into position.
