Recently I began to notice that some external URLs posted by users to the site are throwing up errors in Safari (due to the Magic Lasso Content Blocker I have installed).

Here's an example post from this thread:

The post has a few links that when you hover over them, they show the direct link to the site:

But when I click on the link, it re-directs through "https://go.skimresources.com/" and the "failed to open page" error pops up:

Magic Lasso is obviously blocking the site because of the re-direct through whatever skimresources.com is. I'm just wondering how that re-direct is getting into the link to begin with – since I highly doubt the users are entering them in that way.

Is it possible that eBay is doing this to any incoming link from a browser with a content blocker turned on? I could swear I've seen this happen with other non-eBay links though (although I'm not positive).
