Oh Watched Pot
You never boil,
Like a FedEx Tracking Number
To which I'm loyal-

Checking each minute
For my iPhone shipping.
At every refresh
The same words "sitting

In Bloomington, California,"
Since the 24th of August.
They should warn ya'
Of this pokeyness.

So I wait, with breath baited
For my iPhone to move
To the next State,
If only to prove

That I should stay here
In good ol' Saint Louie
And not go to California
For my iPhone, personally.

This is what happens when you're waiting for your iPhone, and the tracking page hasn't changed in 3 WHOLE DAYS! If Apple keeps this up, I'm going to start writing Haiku.
 
Tomorrow you should write the haiku, Wed is for nursery rhymes. :D
 
someone has too much time on their hands.

I spent a long time waiting for an ebay package to come once (I think it was a laptop) and it didnt move for a week. I finally gave up and stopped checking, went out for a while and went to school the next day. When I came home the next day it was on my doorstep.

tracking isn't an exact science, it may be in your town as we speak. Don't hang on what the computer tells ya!

Bird, Farmer, Phone:

Bird nesting on eggs
Farmer sows seeds in the field
iPhone in a van



The Mirror

Baby coos, giggles
Puppies play, tumbling softly
Reflect in touchscreen
 
Should have popped for the overnight shipping. I think they give those priority. Ordered my iPhone this morning (27th) and its already shipped, to be delivered tomorrow.
 
when is your phone supposed to ship. I have to wait at least 2 more weeks if not more in order to get my CS3 from apple :(

They said it would arrive no later than the 30th, so in the next few days. I'm just hoping to see some progress on the tracking page (none yet).
 
At Local FedEx Facility

Finally some movement on the tracking page. My phone is at the local FedEx facility. I suspect that I'll see it today. Do you think that's rigtht? I suppose they have 2 more days to wait, if they'd like. Perhaps, though, they can hear my iPhone pining for me, and they'll have sympathy for it, and they'll deliver it today.

well from my experience Ive never seen a package arrive before the expected date of delivery.

Mine, which I ordered yesterday morning is "out for delivery" right now. I almost never pay for expedited shipping, but this is one time I didnt think I could stand to wait for the free shipping.
 
On it's way

FedEx must've heard my iPhone, because the page says it's in the van for delivery. I assume that means today? If that's the case, then it's 2 days early. I agree, early would be unusual, but I'm not complaining.

Lucky for everyone, I don't any longer have the occasion to write poetry, or, specifically, to write a nursery rhyme.

Booya! It arrived just a few minutes ago. I'm in the process of syncing some iTunes stuff and setting up my Yahoo account for mail. Sweet!
