Hi

Am I better off using Odin on my Mac or digging out one of my old PCs from storage? Also where is the best place to download from and look out for new releases?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I was going to try installing ICS on a Samsung Tab P7300. I have to admit I am not too sure how it works yet.. any tips!? Also, just noticed the model has no SD card slot - is that likely to be a problem?

Not really sorry. I only used it once or twice to flash a ROM on my S3. You should probably find a guide on xda just so you don't screw up :p

Edit: doesn't look like your device is supported. You should still try and find a guide on xda or somewhere else

I actually got Parallels in one of those Mac bundles and it works pretty well (other than the fans going crazy every once in a while).

Parallels is great - probably the best virtualization software I've used, but I hate the way they handle upgrades. The discount for current users is too low, and $50/yr is just too much for something I only use on occasion. I'm using VMware Fusion now and it's pretty good too. VirtualBox is a great alternative if you don't want to purchase anything, though. I'd probably use it if it had the option to virtualize the Boot Camp partition like Parallels and VMware do.
