I am looking in to getting a macbook pro. I was wondering one thing. When you want to be able to boot your boot camp partition using either Vmware Fusion or Parallels Desktop, can you buy the OEM version of Windows Business or Ultimate or does it have to be the full version? In other word will the OEM version have activation problems?

I was just trying to figure out how much I need to spend on the windows license.

Just be aware that Vista SP1 breaks the dual-activation handling for BC installations in Fusion. VMWare is working on the issue, but right now the best workaround is to NOT apply SP1.

Note this has nothing to do with OEM...it's a SP1 issue.
