hi gang, getting i tunes, photos and contacts ready for the BIG sinc this week. had phone since 30th and new to all of this...so real newbi...be gentle...what should i limit each # wise for each folder, have made separate folder for each group named iphone...8 gig phone!

It depends on what you want to put on your iPhone. Calendar and Contacts don't take up much space, so don't worry about those. You'll have to divide it up between music and photos. I have 1700 songs totaling 6.33GB, and nearly 300 photos. Along with 1200 contacts, that leaves less than a gigabyte of free space. My suggestion is to manage your playlist/photolist to about 6GB of space.

BTW I don't have any videos on my iPhone.
