I had that too. Separately my old non-retina 2012 MBP started beach-balling too much so I got the high end 13 inch 2020 MBP and Office 2019 Home and Student edition. Given the fairly basic stuff that I do, I haven't really noticed any real difference besides the new icons.

The only thing that really sticks out in my mind is that my edition doesn't come with Outlook 2019, so that's stuck on the 2016 (I don't use it so I don't care). The old Outlook 2016 icon remains, and when I try to update Office 2019, it'll tell me to update Outlook 2016 ("Office Upgrade Required" which I can't unless I buy another edition that I don't want) and so that just remains in Microsoft Autoupdate. Just a small annoyance.
