Anyone know why every “update” for MS Office apps, Word, Excel, etc. are all 1gb+ in size. For those with data caps, it seems quite excessive. Grrr.

I assume you’re using the Office apps downloaded from the App Store. If you switch to downloading them from Microsoft, the Microsoft Autoupdate app will download smaller, incremental updates for each app.

That's a great tip. I'll try it.

Because that's how big the update(s) are?

This is exactly how I keep my Office apps up to date. I don't even pay any attention to the size of the updates, it has never been an issue.
