Ok, so I'm getting hooked by the edu. prices of Office.

I bought my Powerbook in June and immediately uninstalled office test drive. Well I tried the software restore to finally try it and it says my test drive is expired. Ok... so I downloaded it from their site... Sorry, your test drive is expired.

Does anyone know how I can finally try this software out??

Look in Application Support (/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Application Support) and Preferences (/Library/Preferences and ~/Library/Preferences) for any files associated with Microsoft Office. Delete them all, and that should fix your problem.

Just did a search for "microsoft." Found a few things, deleted them all. We'll see. That may not have gotten what you were talking about but it probably did. Thanks though.

Sorry it didn't work for you, I can't imagine where else to look to delete something. Try a search for "Office" as well. Those MS techies can be tricky devils sometimes.
