Official ios 11 update

I went to update my iPad and the official ios 11 update was available. I did participate in the beta testing don't know if they made a difference, but I was able to update It a official ios 11 from Apple.

Right. As a beta tester, the iOS 11 Golden Master (i.e., the same version as Apple plans to deploy to the rest of the public next Wednesday) was available for you to download. Barring a change, this is exactly the same version as everyone in the public will get next week.

I was a beta tester and I got the GM update early .. although the Size of the GM update was 1.1gb and the IOS 11 pubic version is 1.9gb .. I wonder why and how ???
