The Music app icon is still the same in iOS 9 betas that have been released so far (through beta 2).

I've got the icons in all the proper res, it's pretty high quality, will be uploading shortly.

Do you want the News app icon as well?
sure thank you, if its not too much trouble and if you have the 120x120 icons available, would you mind uploading that?

How do you obtain icons from installed apps? And are they square, or do they include the rounded corners? I would like a full-sized copy of my app icon but in the actual icon shape, rather than the square shape I made. I haven't found a good way to get one yet.

I am Jailbroken and use iFile to go into the applications folder, generally for apps, you will see "Appicon@2x"
with a resolution of 120x120 (square image)
I believe that when making an app, you should use the square image and Apple's springboard will automatically show it in the "actual icon shape" aka what is seen on the homescreen.
I'm pretty confident you can find either an app via cydia (if JB) or an online app that will convert image from square into apple's icon shape. I'll do some research and attach a link If I find something.
If you want me to download your app, and extract the image let me know and I can send over the official square icon, just need an app name

Update to 8.4 and jailbreak. Not only will you get the icon but you'll get the full fledged new music app with Apple Music.

There is no iOS 8.4 jailbreak as of yet. It was JUST released. 8.3 was released over 3 months ago and it just received a jailbreak last week.

Oh I know, I'm saying I created the square app icons and submitted as normal to the App Store. But I would like a somewhat high-res image of my app icon (with rounded corners) for use elsewhere. So far the only way I've thought to do it is to do a screen capture of the iTunes listing and crop it, but that's not ideal. I wish there was an easier way.

You can just find templates that others have created. For example: http://bjango.com/articles/actions/ there you can download an app icon template and mask you graphics with the icon shape.
