Hi there,

Our company uses google drive for cloud storage. I currently have around 100 GB of files (mainly presentations and documents) which I would like to be able to access on the go. And in the absence of internet I would like the entire google drive folder to be available offline on my iPad and iPhone.

However the google drive app only seems to allow taking 1 file offline at a time (which would be thousands of files) rather than whole folders.

Are there any work arounds (looked at Odrive - but didn't find offline functionality in their iOS app) perhaps some kind of sync with iCloud?

:)

Thanks!

OneDrive allows you to make a folder offline, or multiple folders/files, as many as you want, unlike Google Drive.

To be honest, I don’t expect a company born with the birth of Internet to have any idea of allowing offline storage, let alone allowing taking files offline in bulk.

Yeah - see what you mean. On the other hand it works well on macOS and windows - so why not make it work on mobile platforms as well. However, since it doesn't work trying to figure out if there is another way of doing it.
