I'm looking for an iPhone app that will allow me to access all the email in my gmail account offline.
I'm running iOS 10.0.2 on an iPhone 6+. I use gmail and need access to all my emails offline, especially searches. I currently use the Gmail app but there is no option for offline access. The native mail app can access mail offline but it just never seems to download old email unless I'm physically scrolling through a folder. New mail does arrive correctly though. I've also tried Google's Inbox and Microsoft's Outlook apps but neither have an offline / download all emails option. I've also spent several hours searching forums including this one without any success.
In the native app I believe headers are downloaded but the body isn't. I tested this by going into airplane mode and opening an email I suspected as not having downloaded and I saw no body - switched to airplane off and the email body downloaded.
Hopefully someone knows the answer to this.
