Not everything should be alphabetized to make sense.

Perhaps I just got too used to seeing categories in the specific order for far too many years. I'm sure I'll get used to the new order. No big deal.

On the other hand, WhatsApp is no longer an eyesore whenever one navigates to Categories.

One thing that intrigues me, why does everyone has their iDevice on orientation lock when they post screenshots?

I might be a hypocrite here as I usually left my iPad on orientation lock. ;)

Even stranger... did you notice the icon for the 'Medical' category...? Weird that Apple defaults to "The Sex Bible". :D
Not really weird since Sex Bible is currently the top paid app in the Medical category, hence the icon.

Or is my sense of humor just too thick? :D

Maybe because their iDevice is usually on orientation lock, hence the screenshot reflecting exactly that?

Anyway, I sincerely hate landscape mode and find it more annoying than useful. That's the very first thing I change whenever I get a new iPhone.

Double-tap home, then swipe from right to left. You get iPod controls and orientation lock.

^ left to right.
