Mann Co.'s new competition? :D

What is the "free weekend"? Don't we have to pay the $19.99?

It means TF2 is Free until Monday, then you will have to buy it if you don't already have it. It's actually 50% off right now for $9.99 and it's worth every penny if you don't already have it.

Cheers. :D

That's what I thought, but...

I don't mean to be dense, but you say it's free this weekend, then say it's 50% off right now.

I've been waiting for it since I played it on the 360, until M$ killed off audience. Waiting till the servers calm down, and if anyone says how it plays on a mini.

The free weekend means anyone can download/install the game and play it without having to purchase it this weekend. They do this occasionally with different games to let people try them out. If you look next to the game in your Steam Library it should have a little countdown timer, something like 3 days 15 hours, etc.

During this free weekend you can also buy the game for $9.99 which will allow you to continue playing after the weekend ends. If you wait and don't decide to buy until say Wednesday you'll have to pay $19.99.

Either way you can play this weekend and not pay a dime.

Cool! Thanx for the answer.
