But I figured the quickest way to get a straight answer is to just post this...

I have an Phone 3G, running 2.0.2, and want to jailbreak it.

What do I need?

QuickPwn and the 2.0.2 restore file? Will I be able to upgrade to newer firmwares when they come out (ie 2.1, etc.)

Again, please don't flame me, I know of the search, etc etc, but I just want a quick answer. Thanks guys <3<3

Nope, sorry, the quickest way to get answers would be to click on the stickies. That way you don't have to type.

and I believe once you jailbreak your phone you will have to restore it before updating to 2.1 and wait the new pwnage tool before jailbraking again..

this man is genius...

On another note to the OP, the process isn't so hard that you had to make your own thread to get special attention... I jb-ed my phone completely blazed throughout the whole process and didn't run into any issues...

Can people stop answering threads like this and just point them to the stickies?? You're not helping members out when u give step by steps to lazy people like him... You're only feeding their laziness....

Is it really that serious?

on a single account... No, not that serious... But you have to understand that it has to stop somewhere... There's hundreds of people who were able to just read stickies and get it done... Don't put yourself on a lower level.. Stickies are here for a reason..
