OK, got my iMac back, screen dims

the screen dims by itself after a few minutes of inactivity. I never had this behavior before. I did adjust brightness and my energy saver settings are at 15 minutes off and 1 hour for drives.

So where does this leave me? What am I missing? Perhaps I never noticed it before but it certainly seems odd.

Took nearly two weeks but its back, I won't go back to Microcenter for authorized service because it took me nearly a half hour of waiting just to pick it up.

Under advanced, there is a setting to dim screen before sleep. Just deactivate that setting.
