Just using the mouse (G5 PowerPC) and all the writting on the page got smaller, then got larger as I turned the wheel. Not a big problem but for the fact that I now need at least another screen to see it all!

What did I do and how can I replicate it?

Thanks all.

that is bizarre. you can make it smaller and larger with command +/-, but why the mouse wheel should behave like that is strange indeed.

is it still doing it? and can you at least get the text down to a more normal size with the keyboard shortcuts?

edit: and good question, Chris. I forgot that not everybody on a Mac uses Safari ;)

I believe that if you hold command or control...I can't remember....it will change she size if you scroll the wheel.

Or the Apple Key. I call it the Apple Key because there is an apple on it. It's the same reason I call the return key, the return key, because it says return on it.

Or even the Open Apple key if you are a remnant of the old Apple II days (like me). I remember using Open & Closed Apple to play various pinball games. I tend to call it splat as well...

History of the Command Key:

Just playing with you...
