Still cannot find out how to open the Apple Savings account on an iPad Pro with latest software. I have Apple Cash and Apple Card in my Wallet.

Are you trying to open the savings account from the iPad? If so, I don't think that currently works. You need an iPhone.

Well, how come so many features are locked to the iPhone? The iPad is supposed to be more capable...

Every release, iOS gets a new slew of features, and iPadOS has to wait a year for them because of the 13 split.

Apple Watches can only be activated and used with an iPhone. Don't have one? Tough luck. You have to initiate the return process because there was little to no warning you needed an iPhone.

Wanna pay without your card? Better have an iPhone ready. iPads can't do NFC pay.

This isn't a hardware difference either. iPads are largely just an iPhone Plus Max without the SIM or modem. It should be possible, but it isn't...

simple. it is because of economics - the iPhone is cheaper to produce and it is their cashcow...
