I want a ship date for my 3G, dangit. And by "ship date," I mean, the name of a month, as well as a number corresponding to a particular day falling within that month. No more of this "late April" hooha.

I'm a longtime Mac geek, and I don't get the reasoning for not giving a ship date for an item I've paid for, when the "late April" timeframe is just days away.

It's also annoying that there are no remotely believable rumors about an impending aforementioned ship date. Give me something to cling to, at least, for God's sake!
 
You bought it knowing that there isn't a definite ship date, and now you're complaining?:rolleyes:

If late April comes and goes, and it still hasn't shipped, then you should complain.
 
Your date is: April 30th. If it shows up earlier, you can thank me later.

Are you sure you aren't referring to the Arrandale folk?
 
I too am anticipating my iPad in late April. However, maturity prevents me from whining until said whining is JUSTIFIED. Grow up and learn patience.
 
You could have yourself frozen, and wake up sometime after it's released.

Might want to preorder the dock connector to float-screen adapter before getting frozen though...
 
Perhaps it's your fault you CHOSE to pay for the device without a ship date.

Nothing to complain about here.

FINALLY!!! A decent rumor!

And I love all the threads wherein people say, "I wish the iPad could [be tweaked in this minor fashion]," and people reply that if you wish that thing, you're a child/have an IQ properly expressed in negative integers/don't deserve such an iDevice/are outright stupid.

I myself have never bought anything that I thought was completely perfect. I don't even think Steve Jobs has much fashion sense. If I say I think his turtlenecks are boring, that doesn't mean I think he doesn't make good iThings.
 
I just don't understand the fascination with the 3G model. I can hook my iPad up to my droid wirelessly and get 3G for free.

Maybe you should of not ordered one without the right facts.

Not everyone has a smartphone, or one that can tether. But you probably already realize that.

:DBaaahhaahah love it!! Your spiteful humor is much appreciated in these long days of anticipation and patience. Too effin funny, Thanks for that.
On a more somber note I think that I am going to have to go dumpster diving again for some more supplies. My cardboard ipad is getting frayed at the edges and is creased from being taken in and out of its case for charging/syncing;)
On with the wait...:)

Well, you're better off than I am -- my cardboard Newton *died* last week. Now I'm stuck just killing time by playing games on my Atari 2600.

If you pay by CC, the charge will not show up until the item is ready to ship. I cannot complain until I actually pay for something and not receive it.

The same thing happened with the iMac i7 with the 4850.

I want Palm's WebOS or Android 2.1 (or better) on the HTC HD2. The Droid's hardware is a joke given the physical keyboard adds unnecessary weight and thickness while the Nexus One isn't made to go in pockets.

If you have actually paid for it you can expect it in 2-3 days from the day you paid. I haven't paid for mine yet but really want to.

My Nexus One fits my pocket perfectly and no the screen is not cracked ;)

As far as Android 2.1 on HTC HD2, it's called Supersonic but then again Sprint (and CDMA in general) sucks :rolleyes:

not my inlaws :D My sis in law bragged about her new droid and how it *cough* compares to the iphone and even how much better it is :confused: However, every single time I talk to her, it drops the call. Every. Single. Time. But, she's happy with her great phone. :rolleyes:
