$300 worth of RAM won't get you anywhere for gaming. Just build a gaming PC, I don't think either of the iMacs would be able to run it at ultra.
 
If you are going to primarily game you can get pretty far building a pc, if you want an iMac for a lot outside of gaming go with that. But get the better processor ram can always be upgraded later.
 
If your primary purpose is playing games, buy a gaming PC.

I'd be happy to discuss the joys of OS X for general computing and productivity - but if it's all about framerates, friend, a Mac is not for you.
 
Well im still gonna use it for word and pwpt and keynote yes i know only works on macs but is it worth it for gaming

Your question is opaque... no, it's not "worth it" if gaming is your primary function - yes, it is "worth it" if you want to use OS X, do some productivity, browse the internet, and do some gaming.
