Hi,
I'm about to receive a new Mac Pro 2.66 12 core. I know... I procrastinated the purchase as long as I could waiting, and waiting for a mac pro refresh... but I have a project that needs the new mac pro now.

I have a clean install of Lion on a new hard drive in my mac pro 1,1 , and am wondering if I can just swap it into the new mac pro? Would I be missing any system files important to the new mac pro?

If I need to do a clean install and re-install all my apps and plug-ins, I'll do it. Just hoping to save a day installing if I can.

Thanks for advice.
