Does anyone of you know when the other apple sites in other countries like apple.be or apple.com/uk change into the new look? I really like the new look and I find the old look a little too old... Do they wait to change the site because they still have translating work to do?

Maybe it'll be when they release the iPhone in other countries.

When Leopard launches...

Must be when Leopard launches. It's a pain though it's nearly 1100 pixels wide so bye bye 50% of the web on 1024x786!

They are future proofing.

All those 800px wide sites look rather puny now on some massive displays.

As Apple are a hardware manufacturer, I imagine they have a better idea than most what will be the minimum standard in the next few years.

after the apple event on 7 August they changed the apple.be site with the new layout, pretty cool...

They changed the .ca site only in the last week or two. They're on their own schedule as far as those updates go, I think.
