Hi all,

much has been said about the beautiful screen of the new iPad Pro 10.5, but what blows me away the most are the insane speakers in this thing.

Even if you're just listening to 320 kbps .mp3 files on the iPad sounds just so clear and loud, and I haven't even checked out .flac files yet. It really does sound like I have my external JBL speaker connected to it.

Man I appreciate this stupidly expensive, utterly useless, beautifully over-the-top machine so much.

Yeah--we had mine on pretty loud in the kitchen the other day and I couldn't believe how great it sounded. It beat both of our fancy iHome Bluetooth speakers. I can't wait to hear what they've done with the HomePod.

Yep. I remember feeling this way about the 12" rMB when it first came out, too.

I have the 12" rMB and was absolutely astonished at the quality of its speakers.

I also recently bought the 10.5" iPad Pro, and was again absolutely astonished at the quality of its speakers.

Apple really seems to have gotten this part of the hardware absolutely dialled-in.

yes! apple devices are nice and loud. I have a android tablet and the max volume compares to 40% of the ipad volume. IF there is any background noise at all you cant hear the android tablet at all. I even tried android apps that are suppose to make the volume louder and they don't help or work.

More Specifically, the iPad Pro's and iPhone 7 Plus have really improved with their audio quality. More treble and overall loud and very crisp.

Honestly, this was the most stand out thing from upgrading from the iPad Air. Using Garage Band is completely different, especially the drums. I could hardly hear the drums at max volume on the Air, but on this it’s pretty loud.

I completely agree. The sound is beyond incredible. It's nothing like those stereo speakers on my iPhone 7, which I already considered to be pretty good. The iPad Pro produces amazing sound. Watching movies with those is just a fantastic experience... Almost like surround sound.
