I'm hoping you were both smart enough to restart your phones after the update.

Yup a couple times, normal power off, and a reset with both buttons....still no go.

My girlfriend is sending me a bunch so I know its working as I can receive them. She just isn't getting any of the ones I send. They come up with an error in sending.

lol same issue here.
I'm sure AT&T is having a world of issue with this right now :)

i get them just fine, first one i sent took forever but went, just tried another and got a fail

Just an FYI... I was mms'ing yesterday fine with 5.0, I had installed the 5.1 hack previously which didnt work, reverted back to the 5.0 and it started working yesterday. Today after I installed the 5.5 icpp it started giving me the red exclamation mark failure. I turned mms off in settings, rebooted phone, turned it back on and now its working.. Just something to try if your having problems.
:D

I believe it must be an MMCS server collapsed. It wouldn't surprise me, but it would irritate me because AT&T had 3 months to prepare.

Well lets consider the fact yes they had 3 months to prepare but still it is not cost effective to pay for huge upgrades to a server to handle 3 day spike in demand.

I would not be surpise if AT&T temparally put all iPhone users MMS on there own server so only the iPhone users are effective with any system delays/ crashes.

Protect the rest us of who do not have a new toy.

I just got a text message from AT&T that MMS is available in my area and I can get the update thru iTunes, ect.

After that text, my MMS successfully send now. Sweet!

Turn off phone, remove SIMM card. Put Card back in, turn on phone. It will work. This if you have the Red Exclamation point
