I just talked to a VERY high up source at the corporate ATT store in OKC, he said that the number of phones they were getting = the number of tickets they are handing out to campers... Say they get 80 phones and there are 100 campers, tough luck, the first 80 get tickets. One per person.

Some will question me, so be it, I am just giving those that want to know some info.

That's not unheard of. It lets people know before they wait in line if there are going to be enough. My friend waited in line at a BestBuy for the Wii and they did that.

I believe you, that is the scenario have have predicted for weeks. It is the only logical way to sell things that are this coveted. I only hope your source wasnt using his 80 per store estimate and it turns out he was right :(
