I'm wondering what the thoughts are on the older refurbished 24 inch 2.8 iMac vs this new 2.8.
From the specs the only major difference is the FSB, old was 800 new is 1066. Meanwhile the older one has a 500gb hard drive and the new is 320gb hard drive. HD space don't mean much as I'd likely never fill either of them.
Assuming you don't update the vid card what's every one's thoughts on the speed difference in the two? The older one is $200 cheaper.
The price difference isn't a major concern, in all honestly both are more than I "want" to pay but I can afford either. Yet I'd just assume to save $200 bucks if it's not much of a speed increase.
