Old banner on top of imessage

Hello!
So I have this odd thing that started maybe a month ago. Every time I get a text while in an app or on my home screen I get this old notification banner over the top of it. I can flick it up and away but it also flicks the message away when I do that. This WWF notification was deleted weeks ago but still pops up like that with every message.
Any ideas?

Can you try to reinstall the WWF app, disable push notifications for the app, then uninstall again?

A reboot usually solves that for me, though I never get it anymore after upgrading to 10.3+.
