Hey guys!

I have an old iMac 21.5 Mid 2011 with MacOS 10.13.6... the latest MacOS allowed. It´s a souped up machine with an ssd and 32 gb RAM and it works really good. The iPhone I use is XS with a charging port that has stopped working. It´s 100% sure that it`s the port that´s broken 'cause I can't connect to my iMac for syncing or file transfer either. But the last year I have been using WiFi to connect and I charge with a wireless charger, so I havn´t been complaining at all.

It all worked up to the last beta of 16.1 but when the public version of 16.1 came it stopped working. iTunes don´t recognize the iPhone. I remember that when I still could use the cable iTunes always made a small update after a major iOS-update... but this I cannot do anymore.

Am I screwed? Do I have to repair the phone or is there any other way to make iTunes update or recognize the phone?

All network settings are the same and there is nothing wrong with any ports on my iMac
