I finally got a new 3GS.

It's replacing my old 2G 8GB. The only reason I replaced it is because the ear speaker went bad. No water damage. It just went bad. Since I am a tech guy by profession and my phone was totally out of warranty, I tried opening the iphone, using all I could (I did not have a plastic opener), so I munched all the cosmetic chrome all through the sides and the black plastic in the back. I could not see anything wrong with the ear piece. Did not break anything in the iPhone, but it does not look as nice.

Screen is intact and is... well... my old iphone.

Best buy says that they have a trade-in plan. But I doubt I will get much with them.

The device works pretty well. Except for the earpiece...

Where do I sell it? Do you all know a good trade in program?

Thanks.

It is never worth it to trade in electronics. Just post it on Craigslist and see how much you can get out of it. Or, just keep it so many years from now you will have the first ever iPhone!

its always good to have a spare, just incase (god forbid) something happens to your 3gs.
