Hi

I have a macbook running Mac OS X 4.10.11 (Tiger).

I have recently bought an iPhone 3GS.

I am unable to sync with itunes (or icloud) on my Mac... I am told I need a newer version of iTunes, which is not compatible with my (outdated) Mac.

Is there any way of uploading music to my phone without the new version of itunes?

Is there any way of updating my Mac to enable me to download the latest version of iTunes and sync my mac with my phone?

Hope you can help.

If your MacBook is running on OS X Tiger, it can run Leopard and Snow Leopard. Maybe even Lion. You have to update to iTunes 10.6, which requires at least Snow Leopard. Your MacBook is compatible with Snow Leopard.

Thanks for reply. Is this something that I can do fairly easily, or does it require complicated backing up of files that are already on the computer first?
