Old Mac support by model or graphic device?

Does this mean, that my 24" Intelmac late 2006 (iMac6,1; Serial: W86410JDVGP) is not supported even though it has a better graphic card installed NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT ?

2006 iMacs are no longer supported, presumably due to their lack of 64-bit EFI.
