My CompUSA is clearancing out their store and they've got the Macbook/iBook Apple Care at 40% off. Anyone know if I can use this for a Macbook Air (since now the AppleCare is for Macbook/Macbook Air)?

It appears to have the same part number MA519LL/A

They used the same part number since the iBooks.

I would guess then, that it should work.

Have you checked eBay? They are usually discounted on there as well.

Yes, when I got mine with the extended warranty the Apple Store guy gave me a Macbook/iBook Applecare box and it registered just fine after I put the code in the website.

The one the Apple Store gave me was labeled MacBook/iBook and it worked when I registered it today. The guy just snagged it from a shelf, so I don't think it was special in any way.

Likewise, you could probably pick up the mini-ethernet converter at CompUSA.

I know my local one had that, but not sure on the Apple Care...
