Hello There.
Im using my old macbook 2010 White mid 2010.
I loving this model. I have another macbook air 2015, but 2010 is so great and Best.
Im going sell my air and only using 2010.
I found on YouTube catalina patcher and works great.
But I have question guys.
Can I speed up this laptop or hes cpu is too old and slow?
So, macbook equipped with 5gb ram, core 2 duo p8600 2,4ghz and 10 years old harddisk and 320m 256mb GPU nvidia.
Im looking for ssd and more ram, its a good choice?
Will it be faster or cpu its over the limit?
Using on internet (YouTube, films, Facebook, email).. Sometimes GTA V (haha, no, its a joke).
Thank u guys!

Throw an SSD in it. You’ll see an immediate improvement in responsiveness.

An SSD, 8 or 16GB of RAM, and a fresh application of thermal paste will work wonders on one of those machines. I still have one that I use regularly, and it’s a delightful little machine.

You can't upgrade the CPU, but you can upgrade the drive, battery and RAM, as others above have mentioned.

Upgrade the drive FIRST with an SSD.
