Old MBA 13" to new MBA 13" - Size/Weight Comparison

Can anybody who owns both an old 13" model MacBook Air and a new 2010 MacBook Air comment on the size/weight comparison between the two? Is the new MBA actually a smaller form factor and footprint or is it exactly the same? How does the weight compare between the two models? Is the new MacBook Air actually THAT much smaller and lighter than the old model? I am speaking about the 13" models only, not the 11.6". Thanks!

Nobody owns both an older model 13" and a new 2010 13"? I would really like to know how they compare size/weight-wise. From the photos they look about the same except for a slightly squarer rear side of the unit on the 2010 model, while the 2009 and 2008 are more curved in design. But the size and weight looks nearly the same to me.

Really? I would really like to know how they compare. Can anybody help shed some light on this?

So you are saying the new 13" model is actually thinner but essentially the same weight, same footprint though. Correct?

I am guessing Apple was able to make it thinner by miniturizing the SSD from the old SSD enclosure to the new NAND Flash storage chip.
