So I've got a bunch of Music Videos I've downloaded over the years in .mov format. I used to play them in iTunes and they worked fine. Now with iTunes 6 they changed the way it play movies, and now it seems that iTunes will only play movies you bought from iTMS or video podcasts.

Even a .mov file I got for free with a CD purchase from iTMS about a month or two ago won't play?

Yet ALL of these files will play when I open it up directly in Quicktime.

I'm so confused.

Any ideas?

I just remember I had installed the 3vix codec, so I went ahead and uninstalled that and now my videos are working again.
