Pre-1997? Before the iMac?

Hmmm...easy choice! New Macs.

Now if you had said something like 'Pre-2006' Macs...that would've been more challenging.

oh yeah very easy choice. thoe pre-1997 macs left a lot of bad taste in people mouths. My mom doesnt want to touch apple after putting up with those things. The computer running windows 95 work great but the macs she used at school would lock up freeze and had problems left and right.

Those computers where the crappy ones schools used to use that just had so many problems and people home PC didnt have random locks and freezing problems (that random mac paridy that one guy made that just really made fun of apple is what I think off). I rememeber wanting to pull my hair out at school when it would crash at the worse time and I sitting there thinking why cant this be like my computer at home. That one just works.

Those trouble years for apple where M$ windows was just better in more way that one.

Yeah, I agree, I definately like new macs more...

I remember when I was in middle school when the iMacs were first introduced, they were a beauty, but they constantly crashed. The person who ran the mac lab would always come into the room every 10 minutes and tell us to save, in case the system crashed/froze

Steve Jobs was fired in 1985, and came back in 1996. After '96, everything about Mac was just better, and when he made OS 9, they also stopped crashing. Go Jobs! (and new macs:D )

Older macs were the reason I hated anything mac. I lost a CD in one of those suckers and just looked uglier. Thank goodness for OS X

Depends on my mood
Hmmm... Well, I'm partial to Old macs, although I am waiting on a Mac Mini I ordered. I own but one pre '97 mac,A Macintosh Classic (Unless you count an Apple IIc) I AM typing this on a G3 iMac with OS 8.6, but just becuase it would be a major pain in the butt to get the classic on the internet. (Although I've heard it CAN be done.)
