Does anyone else have the issue that old Safari tabs that have been closed already still show up in Safari?

For example, on my iPhone I still see tabs from my MacBook that I closed weeks ago. Between them are the tabs are actually still open. But even when I close them on my iPhone, they show up again either immediately or some hours later. That's so weird.
This issue started several months ago and I have updated macOS / Safari / iOS in the meantime but nothing helps.

Anyone knows any solution for that?

Yes. Do have the same issue.

Quite annoying as it's a huge amount of tabs... apart from the data protection aspect a very annoying thing

Try and change your iPhone's date to at least 14 days into the future on the iPhone where the ghost tab appear. It was a suggested solution here:

and it worked for me and many users in that thread!

I have had this issue pretty much forever since they announced this feature and setting the date into the future on my iPhone was the only thing that made the iCloud Tabs feature work again on the Mac, just need to see if it works on iPad as well.
