How many of you are still proud of the litigious, price fixing behemoth that your beloved company is turning into?

If Amiga (RIP) were to rise from the dead and pull half the shenanigans that Apple has, then I don't think that I would continue supporting them.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or not, but this "new" Apple that can do no wrong and "saved" the world from an Amazon monopoly is seriously pissing me off.

In any marketing analyrics that measure my "trust" of Apple, or how much I like or relate to Apple as a brand, I give them a 0.

And that's a bad metric to have, after a while it'll come back and bite them if too many people feel that way.

Boring. I don't care about Apple one way or another, as long as they make tools that help me be productive. I will continue to purchase tools from Apple as long as they are useful. I will buy tools from other companies if they are useful.

Apple is a for-profit corporation, and they do corporate type things. When any corporation appears all "warm and fuzzy" it is merely yet another corporate strategy. Nothing more, nothing less. Thinking a corporation acts in any other way is bit naive, imho.

I'm not really big on Apple as a whole these days. They have made quite a lot via ridiculously good branding and staying ahead of trends. They're also quite good at convincing people that their old device is no longer worth using a year later:rolleyes:. It makes slightly more sense with families that cycle devices down to their kids.

Anyway.... what I really hate is when people start a thread with a clearly biased agenda.

Its just a question.

Companies upset their customers every day (Comcast, all of the cell phone carriers), but only a couple (Apple, Google, Chick Fil-A, Honda, Sony in the past, etc) have been the most successful at attracting a large following of people who are enthusiastic about the brand foremost because of who the brands is (or market themselves to be) and second-most because of the service/product that they offer.

A Mac-head in the early-to-mid 90's should understand that? Apple was putting out more expensive, less powerful PCs, but the faithful were still lolling around nerdy college campuses (like mine) with their rainbow colored Apple decals.

Just curious to know what some of those folks thought of the company today. My guess is that there would be seriously mixed feelings... but I dont' know since I have never been a mac-head, so I asked the question on here.

Since when is asking a tough question (which is what I *titled* the thread) trolling?

U butt-hurt, bro? ;)
