Today I was curious to open the App Store and the "Purchased" tab - the old twitter app was still there to be downloaded.
It is still working. I was able to tweet. But some things are broken. I can't see threads - just tweets in my timeline. But I believe 80% of the experience is preserved.
In the About section, the build date is 2016.
