I just got a brand spankin new 120 Gig Classic.

My old 5th Gen broke....is there anyway in all of mankind to somehow hook up my 5gen to a computer and save the data. It's dead too the world

I also backed up my music to an external... but for some reason its not mounting. Its a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 harddrive. I wanted to see if i could hook it up to another computer, but the other PC's i have in the house don't have the right cable hook ups!!!

I'm sooooo lost

If it's dead then no.

What kind of connector does it have? USB or firewire? If it's FW only then I'd suggest getting or borrowing a USB enclosure and using that, since all computers have USB.

By the way... good thing the Packers traded Favre. Really paid off for them this season. ;-)
