I'm not familiar with the White Macbooks so I made reference to both types of connectors to ensure the OP get's the right enclosure.White iBook never used an internal IDE hard drive, but will be SATA.
Even the optical drive is SATA on an A1342 model (2009 or 2010 MacBooks)
So, any USB enclosure for an SATA drive, or even a simple USB-SATA cable would be fine for occasional use.
You could try listing it in the marketplace if you have a high enough post count. Those white MacBooks really aren't worth anything anymore, though. Shipping would be more than you'd get for it. You might be better off just offering it for shipping.SATA drive out. connected to mac mini files transferred. saved. many thanks
I have bits n bobs from old mac are they of any use for spare parts?
The iBook always used IDE hard drives, the MacBooks on the other hand always had SATA drives.White iBook never used an internal IDE hard drive, but will be SATA.
