Older 2012 iMac

i have an older 2012 27" iMac that is no longer being used. what's a good use for it? i'm too lazy / scared to sell it on the internet and it might be good for something other than being a "regular" computer. thoughts?

I would say a 2012 27" iMac is definitely 'good for something', e.g. a perfectly capable normal computer which can basically do everything expected from a 'normal computer'.

Why are you scared of selling it?

i would format and get the os to High sierra and will work a charm will handle lots of programes etc.

my question was more to get an idea of some non-traditional uses for this iMac. maybe i just use it as a giant digital picture frame.

That would work or media player as sound qualify is good

Hang in until you get a few more posts, then sell it right here on our own Market Place.

A 2012 iMac 27" is still a very usable machine and should bring about $200 - $300. Sell it local if you don't want to ship. a2
