Hello,

Would like to know:

Would an older Firefox Version (56.0.2) (64-bit) with older extensions run just fine under Big Sur 11.2?

I had this concern when upgrading from Mojave to Catalina given they would make transition to 64-bit apps only.
Is this no longer an issue under Big Sur? All 64-bit apps that work under Catalina run just fine on Big Sur?

Thanks!

I use it mainly for website-backup purposes (Also run latest version “Quantum 85.0.1” in parallel). Would “Work Offline” be an option to avoid security concerns?
It’s too bad many legacy extensions stopped working after version 56

Lou.

Never mind, you are correct, security fixes are an important aspect to keep in mind. I´ll have to make transition to latest version only.
thanks
