According to my iPad Mini's settings app, the Model Name is "iPad Mini 2", the model # is FE280LL/A and the current iOS is 12.4.2. The Software Update suggests this tablet can handle 12.4.3.

Probably a stupid question, but who not ask... I take it this model iPad cannot handle iOS 13? Just curious.

Unfortunately that's correct. The iPad Mini 4 is the oldest Mini that can run iPadOS. IOS 13 is not compatible for iPads.

Yeah, iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 require at least 2GB of RAM. The iPad mini 2 only has 1GB of RAM.

Thanks for the clarification. Where is Apple's web-page for an complete iOS 13 hardware compatibility confirmation list? No new hardware purchases are imminent, but it would be handy to know.
